QuicaBot Industrial is a mobile robot engineered by the team from Transforma Robotics capable of performing superior-quality autonomous building inspections.

As a Robotics Software Engineer at Transforma Robotics, I innovated the main robot software modules based on the project requirements. With the collaboration of team members, we have produced perception programs for QuicaBot Industrial by point-cloud processing to detect wall holes and trained Machine Learning models in inferring building features with a mean accuracy of 90%. This led to a reduction in inconsistencies in building assessment by workers.

Given a floor map, the program can automatically generate a sequence of navigation waypoints covering all the building areas for inspection. After positioning, the QuicaBot Industrial can perform functionalities including hole detection (diameter and coordinate measurement) as well as the unevenness of the floor (e.g. water ponding).
